There’s nothing quite like an existential crisis to shake things up! Can you relate?

For years I was living on autopilot and felt disconnected from those around me and my environment. I felt stuck and lost in the world. My mental health was suffering and my relationships were declining. Something had to change, something had to give.

After 17 years of hard work and climbing the proverbial corporate ladder, I left my career without a plan and put my faith in the universe to set me right.

I had been on autopilot for so long that I hadn't even stopped to consider what it was that I really wanted from life. Each day I was just going through the motions, merely trying to get from one day to the next. I needed to stop, slow down and ‘refind’ myself and reinvent who I wanted to become. I realized my life was passing me by, and I wasn't consciously making decisions about how I wanted to show up for myself or for those around me.

Recognizing I no longer wanted to live on autopilot and that I wasn’t happy with the complacent person I was becoming, I knew I had to regain control over my life, my mental well-being and my happiness. I needed a plan.

And so, Refind Silver Jewelry emerged from a place of hitting rock bottom and trying to “refind” myself.

For as long as I can remember I have always been able to ‘find’ and reconnect with myself when I’m in the flow of creativity. Creating jewelry has always been a passion of mine so it felt honest and in alignment with the direction I wanted to take my “new life”.

Now I spend my days creating unique jewelry using carefully selected beach stones to celebrate imperfection and help others express their authentic selves. Harnessing my life experiences, and infusing my life lessons into my pieces, I expose the raw beauty of nature in each stone and turn it into wearable art that resonates with the wearer's individuality.

In a world where conformity often overshadows authenticity, I believe in celebrating the unique essence within us, imperfections and all. Just as beach stones are shaped by the ocean, we too are shaped by our life experiences. Our scars, stories, and imperfections make us beautiful and whole; who we are.

Making jewelry allows me to create and hone a craft. Being a solopreneur consistently challenges me and fuels my passion for continued learning and self-exploration. Both make me feel alive. Somedays I ‘feel’ overwhelmed and other days I ‘feel’ the joy I spread when someone connects with a piece I’ve made.

The point is, I feel… the good, the bad and the ugly!

I’m no longer on auto-pilot, I re-focused my energy on building a happier life. I’ve used my drive and ambition to create something of my own & something I can be proud of. I’m mindfully creating the life I want.
